Nach 50 Jahren wurde die Versöhnungskirche umfassend saniert und behutsam weiterentwickelt. Die herausragende Betonarchitektur blieb erhalten. Barrierefreiheit, Energieeffizienz, Akustik und Gebäudetechnik wurden verbessert. Ein erweitertes, transparentes Foyer verbindet Kirche, Gemeinde und Außenraum und schafft einen offenen Ort der Begegnung.

The site features a steep 27-meter slope, equal to a nine-story building. Inspired by informal settlements, OMA designs a chequerboard layout of blocks and courtyards. The terrain allows each building to overlook the next, offering varied views. Despite high density, 70% of the area is kept open for public plazas and green spaces.

AbA Residence is a residential complex comprising a hybrid of semi-detached and terraced villas near Tirana. Organized on seven terraced levels responding to the sloped site, each villa features dual-level access, flexible living areas, two bedrooms, and rooftop terraces with panoramic views, blending nature with modern design.
