Die Produktbeschaffenheiten orientieren sich an DIN EN 13986, sowie DIN EN 312. Das fertige Endprodukt wird im Geltungsbereich dieser Deklaration nicht beschichtet. Verwendet werden folgende Rohstoffe: Holz (Frischholz, Recyclingmaterial, Rinde) Wasser Leime (PMDI, MUF, UF) Hydrophobierungsmittel (Paraffin) Brandhemmer Härter HarnstoffNach der Anlieferung des Holzes, wird dieses aufbereitet, zerkleinert, fraktioniert und getrocknet. Anschließend erfolgt der Transport zu den Produktionslinien. In diesen werden die Holzspäne/ -partikel mit den Zusatzstoffen versehen (Leim und Additive) und getrennt nach Deck- &amp; Mittelschicht (größenabhängig) auf das Formband aufgebracht. Anschließend erfolgt der Pressprozess des Produktes (unter Druck- und Temperatureinwirkung) in der kontinuierlichen Spanplattenpresse. Nach dem Vorformatieren wird das Produkt im Kühlsternwender zwischengelagert und anschließend in der Schleifstraße auf Enddicke gebracht. Abschließend erfolgt die Endformatierung/ -bearbeitung und das Verpacken des fertigen Produktes.

<technologyDescriptionAndIncludedProcesses xml:lang="en">Pfleiderer Deutschland GmbH&apos;s resource-saving, low-emission, raw chipboard panels are panel-shaped wood-based materials. These consist mainly of crushed wood particles (chip to dust-like texture) and are pressed with thermosetting binders and additives. The product properties are based on DIN EN 13986 and DIN EN 312. The finished end product is not coated within the scope of this declaration. The following raw materials are used: Wood (fresh wood, recycled material, bark) water Glues (PMDI, MUF, UF) Water repellent (paraffin) fire retardant Hardeners Urea Once the wood has been delivered, it is processed, shredded, fractionated and dried. It is then transported to the production lines. Here, the wood chips/particles are provided with the additives (glue and additives) and applied to the moulding belt separately for the top and middle layers (depending on size). The product is then pressed (under pressure and temperature) in the continuous chipboard press. After pre-formatting, the product is temporarily stored in the star cooler and then brought to its final thickness in the sanding line. Die kobilanz dieser Deklaration deckt 100% der Produktion roher Spanplatten der genannten Werke im Jahr 2023 ab. Diese Deklaration kann fr rohe Spanplatten des oben genannten Herstellers verwendet werden. 
Systemgrenze: 
Der Deklarationstyp entspricht einer EPD Wiege bis Werkstor – mit Optionen. Inhalte sind das Stadium der Produktion, also von der Bereitstellung der Rohstoffe bis zum Werkstor der Produktion (cradle-to-gate, Module A1 bis A3), sowie das Modul A5 und Teile des Endes des Lebensweges (Module C1 bis C4).
Darber hinaus erfolgt eine Betrachtung der potenziellen Nutzen und Lasten ber den Lebensweg des Produktes hinaus (Modul D).
Im Einzelnen werden in Modul A1 die Bereitstellung der Holzrohstoffe sowie die Bereitstellung der Kleb- und Zusatzstoffe bilanziert. Stofflich eingesetztes Altholz geht dabei ohne Lasten in das Produktsystem ein. Die Transporte der stofflich genutzten Rohstoffe, auch Altholz, zum Werk werden in Modul A2 bercksichtigt. Modul A3 umfasst die Bereitstellung der Brennstoffe, Betriebsmittel, der Produktverpackung und des Stroms sowie die Herstellungsprozesse vor Ort. Diese sind im Wesentlichen die Aufbereitung, Trocknung (inkl. Emissionen), Sortierung und Verpressung der Rohstoffe. In Modul A5 wird ausschlielich die Entsorgung der Produktverpackung abgebildet, welche den Ausgang des enthaltenen biogenen Kohlenstoffs sowie der enthaltenen Primrenergie (PERM und PENRM) einschliet.
Fr das Modul C1 wird ein manueller Rckbau ohne anfallende Lasten angenommen. Modul C2 bercksichtigt den Transport zum Entsorger und Modul C3 die Aufbereitung und Sortierung des Altholzes. Zudem werden in Modul C3 gem EN 16485 die CO2-quivalente des im Produkt befindlichen holzinhrenten Kohlenstoffs sowie die im Produkt enthaltene erneuerbare und nicht-erneuerbare Primrenergie (PERM und PENRM) als Abgnge verbucht. Das Modul C4 wurde nach normativen Vorgaben berechnet und weist keine Abflle zur Deponierung auf. Das ist darin begrndet, dass das Produktsystem am EoL zu Altholz wird, welches gem AltholzV (2020) nicht deponiert werden darf, sondern thermisch oder stofflich verwertet wird. Modul D bilanziert die thermische Verwertung des Produktes am Ende seines Lebenswegs sowie die daraus resultierenden potenziellen Nutzen und Lasten in Form einer Systemerweiterung. Alternativ wird ein Szenario D/1 der stofflichen Nutzung der Sekundrmaterialien (SM) aufgezeigt, da das Produkt bereits aktuell einen hohen Anteil SM beinhaltet.</useAdviceForDataSet>
