<technologyDescriptionAndIncludedProcesses xml:lang="de">XPS wird in einem kontinuierlichen Extrusionsprozess mit Strom als Hauptenergieträger hergestellt. Polystyrol-Granulat wird zusammen mit den genannten Hilfsstoffen im Extruder unter hohem Druck aufgeschmolzen. Das Treibmittel wird der Schmelze hinzugegeben und in ihr gelöst. Die Schmelze wird durch eine Breitschlitzdüse ausgetragen. Durch den dabei abfallenden Gegendruck schäumt das Treibmittel die Schmelze auf, kühlt diese dabei ab und das Polystyrol verfestigt sich. Es entsteht ein endloser Strang aus homogenem und geschlossenzelligem Polystyrol-Hartschaum. Dieser wird weiter abgekühlt und die Extrusionshaut entfernt. Zur Mörtelbeschichtung wird der Mörtel mit Wasser angemischt und zusammen mit dem Glasgewebe auf den XPS-Kern aufgebracht, getrocknet und die Platten abschließend dimensioniert. Diese werden palettiert in Polyethylen-Folie verpackt und auf Holzpaletten palettiert. XPS aus Produktionsabschnitten und Produktionsausschuss kann direkt in der Produktion rezykliert und wieder zur Produktion von XPS eingesetzt. Polystyrol ist ein thermoplastisches Material und kann deshalb einfach und kostengünstig durch Aufschmelzen rezykliert werden. Der Produktionsstandort ist nach ISO 9001 zertifiziert. 
Deklarierte Einheit: 
Diese Deklaration bezieht sich auf 1 m² JACKOBOARD-Platte, bestehend aus einer 18,5 mm starken XPS-Platte und beidseitiger Beschichtung mit Glasarmierungsgewebe und Mörtel von je 0,75 mm Stärke. Das Flächengewicht beträgt 3,72 kg/m².</technologyDescriptionAndIncludedProcesses>
<technologyDescriptionAndIncludedProcesses xml:lang="en">XPS is manufactured in a continuous extrusion process using electricity as the main energy source. Polystyrene granules are melted together with the additives mentioned in the extruder under high pressure. The blowing agent is added to the melt and dissolved in it. The melt is discharged through a slot die. Due to the drop in back pressure, the blowing agent foams the melt, cooling it down and the polystyrene solidifies. An endless strand of homogeneous and closed-cell polystyrene rigid foam is created. This is further cooled and the extrusion skin is removed. For the mortar coating, the mortar is mixed with water and applied to the XPS core together with the glass fabric, dried and the panels then dimensioned. These are palletized in polyethylene foil and palletized on wooden pallets. XPS from production sections and production scrap can be recycled directly in production and used again to produce XPS. Polystyrene is a thermoplastic material and can therefore be easily and inexpensively recycled by melting it. The production site is ISO 9001 certified.</technologyDescriptionAndIncludedProcesses>
<technologicalApplicability xml:lang="de">Für die Verwendung gelten die jeweiligen nationalen Bestimmungen. JACKOBOARD®-Bauplatten können mit Putzen und Fliesen aller Art beschichtet werden. Die Oberflächen des JACKOBOARD® Systems bieten einen starken Haftgrund und können auf nahezu jedem Untergrund verarbeitet werden. Dabei sind sie wasserabweisend, wärmedämmend, leicht und druckfest. Die JACKOBOARD®-Bauplatte ist daher ideal geeignet für den Bad- und Wellnessbereich, insbesondere für den Nassbereich. Sie wird sowohl im Neubau als auch in der Sanierung eingesetzt. Sie findet Einsatz als Fliesenträgerplatte im Wandbereich, auf Trennwandkonstruktionen und im Bodenbereich. Weiterhin dient sie als Fliesenträger- und Konstruktionsplatte im Wellnessbereich, z. B. für Badmöbel, Waschtische, Sitzbänke, Liegen, Regale und Nischen.</technologicalApplicability>
