Deutschland hergestellten Produkte. Die Ökobilanz

berücksichtigt spezifische Informationen der Hersteller

und der Zulieferer von Komponenten für den gesamten

Lebenszyklus.

System boundary:
Typ der EPD gemäß EN
15804: von der Wiege bis

zum Werkstor mit

- Optionen (A4–A5),

- Modulen C1–C4 und

- Modul D

(A1–A3 + C + D und zusätzliche Module: A4 und A5).

















Die Module A1–A3 (Produktionsstadium)
enthalten die Rohstoffproduktion unter Berücksichtigung deutscher

Randbedingungen und die Transporte der Rohstoffe, die Energiebereitstellung
(Strom-Mix Deutschland) sowie Herstellungsprozesse, die für die Produktion

sämtlicher Komponenten für das Erzeugnis Gipsplatte

erforderlich sind. Da im Allgemeinen die Gipsplatten

auf Mehrwegpaletten mit Ladungssicherungsbändern

zur Baustelle transportiert werden, ist keine

Verpackung berücksichtigt.



Modul A4 enthält den Transport zur Baustelle.

Modul A5 umfasst den Einbau auf der Baustelle. Eine
Entsorgung etwaiger Verpackung ist hier nicht
erforderlich (unverpacktes Produkt auf
Mehrwegpaletten).

Modul C1 deklariert den manuellen Rückbau.

Modul C2 enthält den Transport zum Ort der
Verwertung.

Modul C3 umfasst das Zerkleinern und Aufbereiten der
Gipsprodukte.




Modul C4 wird in der Regel nicht
betrachtet, da die



Gewerbeabfallverordnung
eine Zuführung von

Gipsplatten zum Recycling vorsieht. In der

vorliegenden Ökobilanz wird zusätzlich ein

Deponierungsszenario berechnet, um

Legalausnahmen der Gewerbeabfallverordnung mit

abzudecken.



Modul D enthält potenzielle Gutschriften des

The EPD applies to the member companies of the Bundesverband der Gipsindustrie e.V. in accordance with the current member list at
https://www.gips.de/epd-ansprechpartner/gipsplatten/ for products manufactured in Germany. The life cycle assessment takes into account the specific information of the manufacturers and the suppliers of components for the entire life cycle.

System boundary:
Type of EPD according to EN 15804: cradle-to-gate with
- options (A4–A5),
- modules C1–C4 and
- module D (A1–A3 + C + D and additional modules: A4 and A5).

Die Module A1–A3 (Produktionsstadium) contain the raw material production considering German boundary conditions and the transports of the raw materials, the energy supply (Germany electricity mix) as well as manufacturing processes required for the production of all components for the gypsum board product. Since gypsum boards are generally transported to the construction site on reusable pallets with load-securing straps, no packaging is considered.

Module A4 contains the transport to the construction site.

Module A5 covers installation on the construction site. Disposal of any packaging is not required here (unpackaged product on reusable pallets).

Module C1 declares the manual dismantling.

Module C2 contains the transport to the place of recovery.

Module C3 includes the crushing and processing of gypsum products.

Module C4 is usually not considered, as the Gewerbeabfallverordnung (Industrial Waste Regulation) provides for the input of gypsum boards to recycling. In the present life cycle assessment, an additional landfilling scenario is calculated to cover legal exemptions of the Gewerbeabfallverordnung.
