Im ersten Bearbeitungsschritt werden 2-3 BSH-Rippen auf eine CLT-Platte als Grundplatte verklebt. Je nach Anwendungsfall besteht die Möglichkeit im Folgeprozess den Hohlraum zwischen den BSH-Rippen mit Einbauten zu versehen. Beim Einsatz als Deckenelement wird das Produkt mit einer oberen Platte aus CLT verpresst. Nach Aushärtung der Verklebung erfolgt die finale Oberflächenbearbeitung mittels Profilier Hobel, sowie der kundenspezifische Abbund und die Verpackung. Bei Bedarf kann vor dem Verpacken eine Oberflächenveredelung erfolgen.
Technische Daten:
Die im Folgenden dargestellten bautechnischen Daten sind im Auslieferungszustand fr das Produkt best wood CLT BOX gltig. Je nach Querschnittaufbau (Rippenanzahl, Rippenbreite und Hhe) und der Laststellung der best wood CLT BOX variieren die bauphysikalischen Eigenschaften wie Bauteilwiderstand oder Feuerwiderstand. Die Bemessung erfolgt nach EN 1995-1-1, als Vorbemessung steht die best wood STATICS Software zur Verfgung.
Deklarierte Einheit:
Die deklarierte Einheit fr die vorliegende Umwelt-Produktdeklaration ist nach den Vorgaben der entsprechenden PCR: Vollholzprodukt mit 1 m festgelegt. Die Dichte des Hohlkastenelements unter Bercksichtigung der Luftzwischenrume betrgt 200,58 kg/m bei einer Auslieferungsfeuchte von 10 %.The best wood CLT BOX product is manufactured by combining the best wood CLT and best wood BSH products. In the first processing step, 2-3 glulam ribs are glued to a CLT panel as a base plate. Depending on the application, the cavity between the glulam ribs can be fitted with fixtures in the subsequent process. When used as a ceiling element, the product is pressed together with an upper CLT panel. Once the bonding has hardened, the final surface treatment is carried out using a profiling planer and the customised trimming and packaging. If required, the surface can be finished before packaging.

cross-section structure (number of ribs, rib width and height) and the load position of the best wood CLT BOX, the physical building properties such as component resistance or fire resistance vary. The design is carried out in accordance with EN 1995-1-1; the best wood STATICS software is available for preliminary design.

Systemgrenze:
Bei der vorliegenden EPD handelt es sich um eine Betrachtung von der Wiege zur Bahre und Modul D, sie beinhaltet die folgenden Lebenszyklusphasen:
A1–A3 | Produktionsstadium
Das Produktionsstadium umfasst die Herstellung aller Komponenten des deklarierten Produkts (Holzlamellen und Klebstoffe) sowie der Verpackung inklusive der jeweiligen Vorketten bis hin zur Rohstoffgewinnung. Darber hinaus ist auch der Transport der Komponenten sowie der Verpackungsmaterialien zum Produktionsstandort bercksichtigt. Innerhalb der Werksgrenzen werden alle Aufwendungen zur Herstellung der CLT BOX-Elemente bercksichtigt.
A4–A5 | Baustadium
Dieses Stadium bildet einerseits den Transport der CLT BOX-Elemente zur Baustelle ab (A4) sowie andererseits die Aufwendungen fr den Einbau ins Gebude (A5). Weiters wird hier auch die Entsorgung der Verpackungsabflle bercksichtigt.
B1–B7 | Nutzungsstadium
Dieses Stadium behandelt die Nutzungsphase des Produkts. Bei sachgemer Nutzung treten allerdings ber den Zeitraum der Nutzung keine umweltrelevanten Prozesse auf.
C1–C4 | Entsorgungsstadium
Das Entsorgungsstadium umfasst unter anderem den Rckbau (C1), welcher im vorliegenden Fall als Prozess mit vernachlssigbaren Umweltauswirkungen angenommen wurde. Weiters sind der Transport des ausgebauten und somit als Abfall anfallenden Produkts zur Abfallbehandlungsanlage (C2) sowie dessen thermische Verwertung (C3) bercksichtigt. Fr den vorliegenden Fall sind in C4 keine umweltrelevanten Prozesse bilanziert.
D | Vorteile und Lasten auerhalb der Systemgrenze
Hier werden die Vorteile und Lasten fr die thermische Verwertung der Verpackungsabflle (aus A5) sowie des Produktes selbst (aus C3) betrachtet.Scope:

A1-A3 | Production stage
The production stage includes the manufacture of all components of the declared product (wooden slats and
adhesives) as well as the packaging, including the respective upstream chains up to the extraction of raw materials. The transportation of the components and packaging materials to the production site is also taken into account. All expenses for the production of the CLT BOX elements are taken into account within the factory limits.
A4-A5 | Construction stage
This stage includes the transportation of the CLT BOX elements to the construction site (A4) as well as the expenses for installation in the building (A5). Furthermore the disposal of packaging waste is taken into account here.
B1-B7 | Utilization stage
This stage deals with the utilization phase of the product.However, if used properly, no environmentally relevant processes occur during the period of use.
C1-C4 | Disposal stage
The disposal stage includes dismantling (C1), which in this case was assumed to be a manual process with negligible
environmental impacts. Furthermore, the transportation of the dismantled product, which is therefore waste, to the
waste treatment plant (C2) and its thermal recovery (C3) are also taken into account. In this case, no environmentally relevant processes are included in C4.
