Das System besteht aus einem Schachtboden, einem Konus und optional einem oder mehreren Schachtringen. Die Komponenten werden im Spritzgussverfahren hergestellt. Im Konus und den Schachtringen werden in der Kernschicht Polypropylen aus Post-Industrial-Rezyklat (PIR) verwendet. Der Schachtboden sowie die Außenschichten des Konus und der Schachtringe bestehen aus Polypropylen aus Neuware. Zwischen den Komponenten werden Dichtungen eingesetzt und zusätzliche Steigsprossen dienen dem Einstieg in den Kanalschacht.

Die technischen Daten der Produkte, die im Geltungsbereich der EPD liegen, sind unter Verweis auf die den einzelnen Daten zugrundeliegenden Prfregeln genannt. 
Deklarierte Einheit: 
Als deklarierte Einheit wird &quot;1 kg Kanalschachtsystem ohne Produktverpackung&quot; verwendet, das die Komponenten Konus, Schachtring sowie Dichtungen und Steigsprossen umfasst. Eine massenanteilige Aufteilung der Komponenten ist in 2.5 dargestellt. Die Produktverpackung wird separat zum Produkt betrachtet und ist ebenfalls Teil der kobilanz.Fr die LCA wurde eine Durchschnittsvariante des Kanalschachts AWASCHACHT nevoPP DN 1000 bilanziert. Der zugehrige Massebezug unterscheidet sich je nach verwendeten Komponenten im Schachtsystem.</technologyDescriptionAndIncludedProcesses>
<technologyDescriptionAndIncludedProcesses xml:lang="en">AWASCHACHT nevoPP is a manhole system with a nominal width of DN 1000. The system consists of a manhole base, a cone and optionally one or more manhole rings. The components are manufactured using injection moulding. Polypropylene made from post-industrial recyclate (PIR) is used in the core layer of the cone and the manhole rings. The manhole base and the outer layers of the cone and manhole rings are made of virgin polypropylene. Seals are used between the components and additional rungs provide access to the manhole. The declared unit is &quot;1 kg manhole system without product packaging&quot;, which includes the components cone, manhole ring and base as well as seals and rungs.</technologyDescriptionAndIncludedProcesses>
