<technologyDescriptionAndIncludedProcesses xml:lang="de">Erhitzen im Bolzenofen: Der Aluminiumbolzen wird auf 460 °C bis 530 °C erhitzt, damit das Metall seinen plastischen Zustand erreicht. Strangpressen: In einer Strangpressanlage wird der erwärmte Aluminiumbolzen mit Presskräften von über 10 MN durch ein vorgewärmtes Presswerkzeug gepresst. So entstehen die mit den Kunden abgestimmten unterschiedlichsten Konturen der Aluminiumprofile. Kühlen der Aluminiumprofile: Die Kühlung der hergestellten Profile erfolgt direkt nach dem Strangpressen. Hierfür gibt es verschiedene Möglichkeiten: Luft, Wasser oder Sprühnebel. Das Kühlen der Aluminiumprofile beeinflusst u. a. die Festigkeit des Produktes. Recken der Aluminiumprofile: Nach dem Strangpressen und dem Abkühlen erfolgt das Recken der Aluminiumprofile. Dabei werden die Profile meistens über die Elastizitätsgrenze hinaus gezogen und somit auch begradigt. Ablängen der Aluminiumprofile: Der Zuschnitt der Aluminiumprofile erfolgt mittels einer Kaltsäge auf eine den Kundenforderungen entsprechend Länge. Warmauslagerung: Mit der nachfolgenden Wärmebehandlung der Aluminiumprofile in Warmauslagerungsöfen (unterschiedliche Temperaturbereiche bei dazu abgestimmter Dauer) wird gewährleistet, dass die geforderten mechanischen Eigenschaften erreicht werden. Oberflächenbehandlung: Eine Oberflächenbehandlung der Aluminiumprofile (Beschichtung mit Pulverlack oder elektrisches Oxidieren, sprich Eloxal) sorgt dafür, dass die Optik und die Korrosionsanforderungen den Kundenwünschen entsprechen. Thermische Trennung: Vor allem Bauprofile müssen hohe thermische Anforderungen erfüllen. Dies wird erreicht indem das Innen- und Außenprofil mittels eines oder mehreren Kunststoffstegen voneinander getrennt bzw. miteinander verbunden werden (mit oder ohne zusätzlicher Isolierung zwischen Innen- und Außenprofil). Mechanische Bearbeitung: Mit zeitgemäßen Anlagen werden alle mit dem Kunden abgestimmten mechanischen Bearbeitungen an den Aluminiumprofilen ausgeführt, so dass die Aluminiumprofile beim Kunden wie geplant verwendet werden können. Umschmelzen von Fertigungsschrotten: Die bei der Herstellung von Aluminiumprofilen anfallenden Produktionsschrotte werden direkt vor Ort in einer Umschmelzanlage bei ca. 750 °C wieder eigeschmolzen. Die so hergestellten Pressbolzen werden in den vorhandenen Strangpressanlagen wiederverwendet. Somit ist am Standort ein geschlossener Schrottkreislauf gewährleistet, verbunden mit allen energetischen Vorteilen. Verpacken: Am Ende der Fertigungsabläufe erfolgt das kundenindividuelle Verpacken der Aluminiumprofile. Damit sind die Aluminiumprofile versandfertig. Alle Prozesse rund um die Herstellung von Aluminiumprofilen und um das Umschmelzen der anfallenden Profilreste werden durch zertifizierte Qualitätsmanagementsysteme (z. B. DIN EN ISO 9001, IATF 16949, etc.) hinsichtlich qualitativer Produktanforderungen normkonform überwacht.

<technologyDescriptionAndIncludedProcesses xml:lang="en">Heating in the billet furnace: The aluminium billet is heated to 460 °C to 530 °C to enable the metal to reach its plastic state. Extrusion moulding: In an extrusion plant, the heated aluminium billet is pressed through a preheated pressing tool with pressing forces of over 10 MN. Artificial ageing: Subsequent heat treatment of the aluminium profiles in artificial ageing furnaces (different temperature ranges with coordinated duration) ensures that the required mechanical properties are achieved. Surface treatment: Surface treatment of the aluminium profiles (coating with powder paint or electrical oxidation, i.e. anodising) ensures that the appearance and corrosion requirements meet the customer&apos;s demands. Thermal breaking: Building profiles in particular must fulfil high thermal requirements. This is achieved by separating or connecting the inner and outer profiles with one or more plastic bars (with or without additional insulation between the inner and outer profiles). Mechanical processing: Using state-of-the-art equipment, all mechanical processing operations agreed with the customer are carried out on the aluminium profiles so that they can be used by the customer as planned. Remelting production scrap: The production scrap incurred during the manufacture of aluminium profiles is remelted directly on site in a remelting plant at approx. 750 °C. The extrusion billets produced in this way are reused in the existing extrusion lines. This ensures a closed scrap cycle at the site, combined with all the energy benefits. Packaging: Customised packaging of the aluminium profiles takes place at the end of the production process. The aluminium profiles are then ready for dispatch. All processes relating to the production of aluminium profiles and the remelting of the resulting profile remnants are monitored by certified quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001, IATF 16949 etc.) with regard to qualitative product requirements in accordance with standards.

Resultierende Gutschriften fr das Sekundrprodukt aus dem stofflichen Recycling werden extra ausgewiesen. Der Transport der Profile ab Werk, eine evtl. Weiterverarbeitung sowie der Einbau, die Demontage und der Rcktransport sind nicht Gegenstand der Untersuchung.Folgende Prozesse der Aluminiumprofil-Herstellung werden in den Modulen A1–A3 bercksichtigt: Bereitstellung von Roh-, Hilfs- und Betriebsstoffen sowie EnergieTransporte der Materialien zum Werk sowie Abtransport anfallender ReststoffeEntsorgung von anfallenden Reststoffen Direkt auftretende Emissionen Besonderes Augenmerk liegt dabei auf:der externen Herstellung zugekaufter Al-Bolzen, -Profile und -Masseln (Barren)den Herstellungsprozessen der Al-Profile im Werk – je nach Al-Profil-Produktklasse inkl. Oberflchenveredelung und mechanischer Nachbearbeitungdem Verbrauch weiterer Betriebsmittel (Werkzeuge, Reinigungsmittel, Industriegase)dem Verbrauch von Verpackungsmaterialien (Folien, Karton, Stahlbnder und Holzpaletten)der Annahme eines Closed-Loop-Recyclings im Schmelzofen fr die am Standort anfallenden Al-Produktionsabflle (direkter Wiedereinsatz als Ausgangsmaterial mglich, da die Schrotte keinen Qualittsverlust erfahren) Folgende Abbildung zeigt schematisch die fr A1 bis A3 betrachteten Teilprozesse Umschmelzen, Pressen, Eloxieren und Oberflchenbeschichten. Diese Betrachtung wird durch Angaben zum restlichen Gesamtbetrieb ergnzt. Am Standort Gundelfingen werden fnf verschiedene Al-Profil-Produktklassen produziert: pressblank, eloxiert, pulverbeschichtet, Verbund sowie mechanisch bearbeitet. Aufgrund des geringen Umwelteinflusses der Verpackung wird deren Entsorgung in Modul A5 nicht bercksichtigt.Am Lebenswegende der Al-Profile werden fr das Entsorgungsstadium folgende Prozesse bercksichtigt: C3: Schreddern des Aluminium-Schrottes. Das Ende der Abfalleigenschaft ist nach dem Schreddern erreicht. D: Der geschredderte Schrott wird zu Sekundr-Aluminium umgeschmolzen. Fr die Netto-Schrottmenge werden die, durch die Substitution von Primraluminium ersparten Aufwendungen als umweltbezogene Gutschrift gegengerechnet.</useAdviceForDataSet>

System boundary: 
The analysis is designed as a cradle-to-gate with options approach. In particular, the production from the raw materials to the finished product (cradle-to-gate) is taken into account. In addition, the expenses for recycling are included for disposal at the end of the life cycle. Any credits incurred for the secondary product from material recycling are shown separately.
